Showcase any product, service or craft (professional or personal) to an international audience by participating in one of the attendees’ annual favorite elements of the national event, the Silent Auction.
Proceeds from the IHS Silent Auction help fund the IHS Advocacy Alliance. Advocacy and outreach are important member services provided by the Society in support of our industry and ultimately the hearing impaired community we serve. Working to affect legislative and regulatory outcomes combined with building strong coalitions expands awareness of hearing health issues and safeguards the role of our members in the hearing healthcare delivery system. Recent successes in this area include federal recognition of the Hearing Aid Specialist profession in the Standard Occupational Classification, as well as ongoing collaboration with allied health organizations to aggressively support the Hearing Aid Assistance Tax Credit Act.
