Information Sheet for Prospective Providers of Continuing Education Courses

Application for Course Approval

The Application for Course Approval must be received in the IIHIS office 30 days prior to the scheduled date of the program. All programs must be open to the public. If your application cannot be completed 30 days prior to the date of the event, please call the IIHIS office and inform them of your problem.

Soon after receipt of your application, IIHIS will determine if your application meets the criteria for approval of continuing education seminars established by IIHIS. If approval is granted, the provider will be so notified and supplied with attendance cards and the official Attendance Record for use in conjunction with the program. The provider will be invoiced for the yearly course accreditation fee.

Courses provided during the year must be submitted individually to IIHIS for approval. All courses are approved on a calendar year basis.

When the attendance record is received in the IIHIS office, Certificates of Completion are issued to the attendees and the credits are posted.

Additional Expenses

Instructor honorariums, travel and other related expenses are the responsibility of the provider and not included in the IIHIS accreditation.
