IHS Course Approval
- Education provider submits the online application for credit approval at least 30 days before the program date(s)
- Only apply once for a course being offered on numerous dates or in multiple locations.
- IHS approves or denies the course for continuing education credit. IHS assigns a Continuing Education Number (CEN) to each approved course.

- IHS invoices the education provider an annual fee of $250 with their first application of the year.
- IHS can help you to promote your courses in The Hearing Professional magazine and on our website. Please forward the schedule of approved courses to education@ihsinfo.org.
- Within 30 days of the program date, the education provider submits the completed roster to IHS via email.
- IHS posts the number of CE credits earned to each attendee’s personal record and mails a certificate directly to the attendee as record of completion.
- IHS invoices the education provider based on the number of attendees. Refer to the course approval fees.
