Students must pass the final examination with a score
of 75% or higher to pass the course. A certificate of completion will be
awarded upon fulfillment of the course requirements. There is no additional
cost for the final examination. It is included in the cost of the course.
Please review this
important information regarding the final exam:
1. The online exam is not printable. It is closed-book.
2. The exam is comprised of 100 multiple choice questions.
3. You will be given 30 days to complete the exam, starting from the day you register online, or complete the online chapter tests, whichever occurs first.
4. IMPORTANT: Once you begin the final exam you have two hours to complete it. After two hours you will be automatically logged out. If this occurs, you must contact the International Hearing Society to re-set the online exam.
5. You must complete the exam in one session; if you log out before you finish, all of your answers will be permanently lost.
6. You may change your answer an unlimited amount of times without penalty.
7. You must answer each question before hitting the submit button.
8. Exam score will be sent by U.S. mail approximately 5-7 business days upon completion.
9. If you fail the exam (score less than 75%), you will be able to re-take the exam at no additional cost.
