The Advanced Hearing Aid Professional (AHAP) Program is an advanced training pathway that helps hearing healthcare professionals elevate their clinical skills, expand their knowledge of hearing aid technology, and earn the AHAP designation—a respected credential that signifies professional excellence.
Both programs are advanced education programs. ACA is a legacy program (no longer available) with similar foundational coursework as AHAP. However, AHAP was designed with a more modern curriculum. ACA graduates are encouraged to enroll in the AHAP program and will be able to complete an expedited program to earn the AHAP designation in recognition of their prior coursework.
