Tani Austin is a philanthropist, business leader, and longtime advocate for global hearing healthcare. As co-owner of Starkey, she has been a member of the International Hearing Society for more than 40 years while advancing the industry and expanding access to care worldwide. A Board Certified Hearing Instrument Specialist, Tani began her career in clinical practice before taking on leadership roles such as the Secretary of Illinois Hearing Society and Practicum Examiner for the Illinois Department of Public Health that helped shape professional standards at the state and national levels.

Deeply committed to humanitarian work, she has played a central role in delivering hearing care to communities in more than 100 countries through Starkey Hearing Foundation and in building sustainable, community-based healthcare models across more than 70 nations. Her contributions have earned international recognition, including being honored at the United Nations General Assembly First Ladies Summit and named Female Philanthropist of the Year. Tani continues to champion global access to hearing health through her leadership, philanthropy and service.
