Treasurer and Pacific Territorial Governor Toby Hill, ACA, BC-HIS, is the owner of Contra Costa Hearing Aid Centers in Brentwood and Walnut Creek, California. When he is not helping clients East of the San Francisco Bay Area, he can be found either spending time with family or diligently advocating for the profession through a variety of volunteer positions. He considers it a high honor to represent IHS as Territorial Governor in the states of Alaska, California, Hawaii, Idaho, Nevada, Oregon, and Washington, and looks forward to attending the virtual and in-person conferences in the territory.

Hill entered the profession by way of the tech sector, specifically, as a manufacturer’s representative for ReSound. He was drawn to the profession as he learned about the unique blend of technology and empathy required of Hearing Aid Specialists. Hill became an IHS member during a Hearing Healthcare Providers California (HHP/CA) conference, when then-IHS Governor Rick Giles, ACA, BC-HIS, shared with him the importance of IHS’ work to protect and grow the profession. Since then, he has remained remarkably active in both state and international associations. Prior to his role as an IHS Governor, Hill served as President of HHP/CA, a subject matter expert for the California Speech-Language Pathology Audiology and Hearing Aid Dispensers Board, and on the NBC-HIS Item Writers Committee, just to name a few of his many volunteer positions held.
