Board of Governors

The IHS Board of Governors is the principal governing authority that defines strategic direction, monitors progress on the Strategic Plan, upholds professional standards, and champions the interests of the profession. The Board consists of 12 members, including Territorial Governors who represent regional constituencies and maintain direct engagement with affiliated chapters. Governors are elected by members in their territories for three-year terms and may be re-elected twice. Two Governors are selected by the Board to serve as Treasurer and Secretary.
