Dr. Beck is among the most prolific authors in audiology with 257+ publications, interviews, and op-eds written for the AAA, Hearing Review, Audiology Online, The Hearing Journal, the Journal of Otolaryngology ENT Research, and other professional publications addressing a wide variety of audiology, clinical, academic and professional topics including; Op-Eds, audiology, language, pediatrics, cognition, cognitive screeners, hearing aids, amplification, vision, psychology, neuroscience, anatomy and physiology, counseling and more. Dr. Beck is a sought-after lecturer globally and has presented more than 1000 lectures, keynote addresses, webinars and other professional presentations. After a lengthy career in research, private practice, and more, Dr. Beck retired from Oticon, Inc. as the Vice President of Academic Sciences in March 2022. Since then, he’s served as the Vice President of Clinical Sciences at Cognivue, Inc. and is currently the Director of Audiology Professional Affairs at EssilorLuxottica and Co-Host of the Hearing Matters Podcast.
