The Membership Committee will serve as a collaborative and dedicated body to provide insight, advice, and information to enhance member engagement, recruit new members, and retain existing members. The committee will work in partnership with IHS leadership and members to ensure that IHS continues to provide value, foster a sense of community, and promote professional growth across all membership categories.
Committee members:
- Develop and execute innovative strategies to attract new members, leveraging the expertise and networks of the committee. This includes outreach to hearing healthcare professionals, students, and related industries.
- Assist and lead initiatives to retain current members by addressing their needs, regularly evaluating membership benefits, and providing valuable resources.
- Engage in organizing events, networking opportunities, and professional development programs to ensure broad member participation.
- Establish a system to gather and act on member feedback to continuously improve the IHS membership experience.
Qualifications for Committee Members
- Membership: Must be an IHS member in good standing (including affiliate and associate members).
- Variety of Backgrounds: Preference for candidates with a range of experience levels to ensure balanced perspectives.
- Time Commitment:
- Attend virtual meetings quarterly, lasting one hour.
